SeiTalk #01 was dedicated to Exploring the Sei Network and focused on the following 3 main topics:
- "Cosmos Ecosystem and Web3 Builders in Vietnam"
- "Exploring the Sei Network: An Overview and Development Guide"
- "Degen Marketing for Sei: Fundamentals difference between Web2 and Web3 Marketing"
Web3Lab put on this workshop in association with the Sei Network, Cosmos Vietnam DAO, Web3Lab and Kyber Network, which brings together elite partners to impart priceless information and insights to developers of Sei Ecosystem and the future of Blockchain.
SeiTalk #01 was an engaging event that allowed participants to delve into the blockchain industry and explore the disruptive potential of Sei. It served as a platform for attendees to acquire a deep understanding of the latest advancements in the sector.

Part 1: Cosmos Ecosystem and Web3 Builders in Vietnam

During SeiTalk #01, we dived into Cosmos DAO Vietnam, under the leadership of Mr. Vinh, has achieved remarkable success. The team is passionate and has a clear direction. They have developed blockchain technology solutions and successfully applied them in various fields. The organization also contributes to building a strong blockchain community. Cosmos DAO Vietnam serves as a model for other organizations in this field.
Mr. Vinh clearly defines the concept of Cosmos as a network of interconnected chains, addressing the issue of isolated chains. It emphasizes the importance of Inter Blockchain Communication (IBC) as a bridge between different chains. The content also highlights the principles of freedom and equality within the Cosmos ecosystem.
Part 2: Exploring the Sei Network: An Overview and Development Guide

In today's workshop, our speaker Neo Keanu from Web3Lab will focus on a fascinating subject. Sei is an open-source layer 1 blockchain known for its fast processing capabilities. It is designed to support various applications such as digital assets, gaming, social platforms, and NFTs. Particularly, Sei offers versatile and reliable transaction capabilities. If you are interested in developing on Sei, you need to follow the following installation steps:
1. Install local dependencies: Before starting development on Sei, you need to install the necessary local dependencies to build and run the development environment.
2. Set up Seid: After installing the local dependencies, you need to set up Seid, a command-line tool that provides management and deployment functions for smart contracts on Sei.
3. Create simple contracts and deploy: Using Seid, you can create simple contracts in the appropriate programming language and deploy them on the Sei network.
4. Call contracts: Once the contracts are deployed, you can call their functions through the Seid interface or other tools to interact with the Sei network.
With these installation and development steps, you can start exploring and harnessing the potential of Sei in building versatile and efficient blockchain applications.
Part 3: Degen Marketing for Sei: Fundamentals difference between Web2 and Web3 Marketing

Mr. Aaron P has informed us that Degen Marketing is a new strategy in the Web3 marketing field, characterized by fundamental differences compared to Web2 marketing.
In Web2, data is centralized and owned by corporations, while Web3 brings decentralization of data, allowing users to have more control over their own data.
Web2 focuses on referral methods and customer loyalty programs, whereas Web3 emphasizes community building and conveying ideas and stories.
In Web2, Influencer Marketing emphasizes transparency, while Web3 aims to create uniqueness and differentiation to attract attention.
Degen Marketing requires deep industry knowledge and cultural understanding, along with creating user experiences and utilizing diverse methods such as Dev Rel and Sentiment Marketing.
Regarding its impact on the Sei blockchain, it would depend on how Degen Marketing strategies are implemented within the Sei blockchain ecosystem. The use of Degen Marketing techniques can potentially help promote and market the Sei blockchain, attract users and developers, foster community engagement, and communicate the unique value proposition of the Sei blockchain to a broader audience. It may involve leveraging influencer partnerships, creating engaging content, and utilizing sentiment analysis to gauge user feedback and sentiment towards the Sei blockchain.
Part 4: Minigame
In addition to the informative sessions, Workshop 01 also included a fun and engaging mini-game for participants to enjoy. The game was conducted using the popular platform Kahoot, which allowed for a competitive and interactive experience. Participants eagerly participated, showcasing their knowledge and quick thinking to secure the top spots.
After an intense competition, 3 winners emerged as the highest scorers on the quiz. Their impressive performance not only demonstrated their expertise but also added an element of friendly competition to the workshop.
Part 5: Networking
At the end of the session, our attendees engaged in lively conversations and networking during the tea break. Participants had the opportunity to interact with fellow attendees and the speakers, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and experiences. The informal atmosphere allowed for valuable discussions and connections to be formed, creating a sense of community and collaboration among all those present.
